The condensation phenomenon which happens in the boundary of solid and liquid is an interesting heal transfer topic which occurs in many industrial equipments i.e. condensers, steam healers etc. The heat transfer enhancement in them is one of the recent research topics. The various methods that can be applied for beat transfer enhancement in steam power plant heaters and condensers are studied in this paper. Only a few of these methods have been found suitable for those equipments. These methods include the application of extended surfaces such as micro-fin inside and outside the tubes as well as the twisted tapes inside the tubes. Application of the advanced tubes increases arther the heat transfer area or the turbulence in the flow. Therefore, it increases the heal transfer performance of them. Our study has shown that the application of those methods for the steam power plant healers can decrease the length of tubes as high as 50%. The pressure drop in the tubes increases slightly.
