چکیده:

After emergent of alternative current networksand their popularity, asynchronous motors became morewidespread than other kinds of industrial motors. In order tocontrol and run these motors efficiently, an accurate estimationof motor parameters is needed. There are different methods toobtain these parameters such as rotor locked test, no load test,DC test, analytical methods, and so on. The most commondrawback of these methods is their inaccuracy in estimation ofsome motor parameters. In order to remove this concern, a novelmethod for parameter estimation of induction motors usingparticle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed. In theproposed method, transient state of motor is used for parameterestimation. Comparison of the simulation results pertained to thePSO algorithm with other available methods justifies theeffectiveness of the proposed method.
