چکیده:

Nanobimetallic particles consisting ofAu–Fe and Au–Pt have been synthesized by the radiolytic method The nanometallic dispersions are characterized by the electron microscopy techniques (TEM, HRTEM, and EDX), UV vis spectroscopy, X-ray PhotoelectronSpectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The stabilized nanoparticlesdemonstrate electro-catalytic activity towards CO and methanol oxidation, oxygen and proton reduction. The same catalyst material is useful in constructing both anodes and cathodes,and demonstrates bifunctional activity.
