چکیده:

Recombinant Hepatitis B surface Antigen (r-HBsAg) adsorption/desorption capacity on nano silica colloidal (Aerosil 380) adsorbent was investigated using batch process. Effects of five parameters including Adsorption pH, desorption pH, adsorption time, agitation speed and initialantigen concentration were studied. Optimal conditions were 5 and 9 for adsorption pH and desorption pH respectively, 4hr for adsorption time, 600 rounds per minutes (rpm) of agitation speed and 40μg/ml initial antigen concentration. In these conditions r-HBsAg adsorbtion/desorption efficiency on Aerosil was obtained 91%. The results also indicated that Langmuir isotherm provided the best correlation of experimental data for adsorbent
