چکیده:

۲,۲-bipyridine is used in metallocene industry, the applications include coordination of organometalliccomplexes,mediation as Redox biosensor, catalysis for the oxidative organic synthesis, molecular chemistry, water treatment, photolysis chemistry and microbiology. It is very well adsorbed on clays and other materials. In this work nanoporous carbon was synthesized using SBA-3 as a template and then modified by Cu2+ and employed as an adsorbent for 2,2-bipyridine adsorption from waste water. The structural order and textural properties of the synthesized materials were studied by XRD, and nitrogen adsorption.
