Polymeric nanogels are a group of nanostructure systems that have been at the centre of attention in polymer, materials science, pharmacy, and drug delivery for the recent years. Gels are known for their water-swellable properties as can be good candidate in wide range of applications from fillers till advanced bio molecules In this work, a synthesis method for producing dextran (DEX) and poly N-iso-propyl acryl amide (PNIPA) co-polymer nanogels is described. The polymerization process is conducted by the UV irradiation and the gel size is controlled by liposome structures. The dynamic light scattering (DLS) analysis proved a successful polymerization procedure and also determined the mean diameter of particles ca. of 400 nm. In other steps, the synthesized intermediates required for nanogels preparation are characterized by NMR and FT-IR for more surveys.
