چکیده:

The self-forming dynamic membrane bioreator (SFDM) was operated in two conditions including, batch (agitation) and steady-state (aeration) during 16 days of filtration. The effect of four imposed fluxes of 62.47, 112.5, 150, and 190 LMH on fouling rates was evaluated in the agitation stage of the SFDM. The fouling rate in flux of 150 LMH was found to be lowest level among four imposed fluxes, indicatied to optimum recycle flow for the SFDM formation. In steady-state condition, fouling rate has experienced two phases, including completion of the SFDM and pore blocking. The former phase has no significant change on fouling rate as the SFDM was gradually developed. In contrast, the latter phase was found to be significantly higher value as compared to the former stage, indicated the pore blocking of the SFDM. There is a jump in fouling rate which is named as transition phase
